    Is the estimate free?

    Yes. A showroom visit costs nothing and takes about 45 minutes. When the project needs a look at your home — a new fireplace, a conversion, an outdoor build — we come out, measure and write it up; in our Chicagoland service area that visit is free too. You get an itemized written estimate with no obligation.

    How soon do you reply?

    Within one business day, by phone or email, from the person who will write your estimate — not a call center. If you tell us the best way to reach you, we use it.

    What should I have ready?

    Nothing you do not already have. A photo of the fireplace or the wall helps most; the room’s rough size and what you like the look of help next. If you were browsing our gas logs, doors or mantels pages, the form already carries what you were looking at.

    Do you install what you sell?

    Yes — our own installers, on one schedule, and the same people if you ever need service. That is why the estimate covers the whole job: the unit, venting, framing or finish where needed, and the installation.

    Can I just come to the showroom?

    Any day of the week. We are at 1202-B 75th Street in Downers Grove, with gas, wood and electric fireplaces, inserts, stoves, gas logs, doors and mantels on display from 19 brands, and the electric models lit. Bring a photo of your room and we walk you to what fits it.
