FullView Sealed Fireplace Door

Description

The FullView is Wilkening’s regular-duty sealed door and the one with the biggest glass area, designed to give the largest fire view of any gasketed door the company makes. Every door is custom made to the exact measurements of the opening, with woven gaskets around the glass sections to limit air flow while the fire is burning or the fireplace is idle. It comes in black with tempered glass and a room-air inlet, and can be upgraded with ceramic glass, sliding or swinging screens, and plated or steel finishes.

Options and details

Construction: regular-duty gasketed door with narrow framing so the glass panels fill as much of the opening as possible; high-heat woven gaskets seal the perimeter and hold the glass, minimizing air flow through the door. Standard: heat-resistant black finish, room air inlet, tempered safety glass with polished edges. Glass: tempered clear, smoked grey or bronze; optional 1400-degree ceramic glass for closed-door burning. Handles: black, brass or nickel spring; flat wood natural or black stain; spindle wood (top mount only); top or bottom position. Finishes: painted black, Swedish steel, brushed steel, electroplated gold, nickel or brass, custom high-heat paint colors (copper-painted example shown); Ancient Iron trim specialty option; hammered steel finishes are listed for the frame but are not available on the FullView swing sections. Screens: sliding (not available on arch doors), swing style, or none. Frame styles: rectangular or arched frames with rectangular or arched doors; overlap mount (1 in. overlap standard) or inside fit (template required); 2 in. builder flange standard; scroll-cut scribing to a template; raised or dropped firebox and outside-air ducts accommodated. Operation: doors used fully open or fully closed. Custom sizes: yes, every door custom made to the measurement sheet.
