Butt End Corbels

The Butt End Corbels by Magra Hearth — a non-combustible cast concrete mantel accessory. Made in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Sized, quoted and installed by A Fireplace Store and More.

Description

A blocky corbel shaped like the sawn butt end of a timber, designed to sit beneath the heavier Large Barn Beam and Mortise Barn Beam mantels. Its squared profile suits the square-section beams better than the shaped Rustic Corbel. Offered in the seven standard barnwood finishes.

About the maker

Magra Hearth — a Wisconsin maker of lightweight cast-concrete mantels, hearths and boards that look like reclaimed timber or chiseled stone but are non-combustible (ASTM E136), so they can sit closer to the fire than wood. Every piece is hand finished, so no two are exactly alike.
