Description
The smallest of the rustic beams, molded from a six-inch cabin timber with the unpolished marks of frontier carpentry. Made for a traditional fireplace, and just as at home over a contemporary linear one.

About the maker
Lexington Hearth — a Lexington, Kentucky maker of fireplace mantels. Its non-combustible pieces are cast in a proprietary Burncrete™ formulation from moulds taken off historic Kentucky barn timbers and local stone, hollow-cored so two people can hang them, and hand-painted in a multi-step finish. Sold through dealers; we are one of them.

A mantel is sized to your fireplace and its clearances, then installed by the same team that measured it. A non-combustible mantel can sit closer to the opening than wood; a wood mantel keeps the distance your fireplace’s manual asks for. Bring the width and height of the opening and a photo of the wall, or book a showroom visit in Downers Grove and see the finish samples first.
