What Our Clients Are Saying

We are very proud of the service we provide and stand by every product we carry.

To begin with I was pleasantly surprised by the showroom. There was a good variety of fireplaces, ceramic logs, and all the things one can associate with fireplaces. Mr. Beaudy, the salesman, is very knowledgeable and he was able to quickly point us toward the kind of fireplace logs we were looking for. He also showed us how to safely light the fireplace and other safety considerations.

Hudson is very professional and and knowledgeable about gas fireplace inserts. I called him and he was able to come right over. He explained each step of his service call. I never felt like he was trying to fix something that wasn't broke. I highly recommend his business!

Our 30+ year old fireplace needed quite a bit of TLC. The previous owners indiscriminantly mixed use of wood and gas logs. The whole set up sat dormant for 4-5 years, too. Hudson helped explain step by step how we could get it back in perfect working order, and even helped me out on cost by showing me what I could do myself. One thing I really liked...safety is their #1 priority. Great work guys!

I called to schedule an appointment to have a new vent-free gas log set installed (to replace an existing one) and Hudson was at my place the next morning. He had it done in about 45 minutes. He's very friendly and informative and did a great job. He took the time to explain all sorts of things about the fireplace and how to use and maintain it even appearance of it. He'll be the first one I call next time.

I went into Fireplace Store and More to replace some messed up glass in my fireplace. The owner, Hudson, talked me out of that and said he could service my fireplace for a lot less and fix it up like new. He wasn't kidding. A couple hours of work, and my fireplace looked like new and I save a ton of $$$. Nice, professional guy to boot!

I panicked when my fireplace wouldn't start up for the season. I called several places and all just said they would come out for a flat fee and after that they would give me a quote to fix it. When I called Hudson spent 10 or 15 minutes asking detailed questions. He knew exactly what he was doing and my fireplace was restored for just a service fee. I highly recommend him.

Thanks to Hudson and his skill and knowledge it's a lot warmer around here! After a bumpy start due to Hudson's emergency health issues last week, we are happy and warm. I was pleased with Hudson's approach to our problem with the 10 year old no-vent gas fireplace. He showed me how to do it, what to beware of and told me that if I did it once a year, I may not need to call him again.

Going on the recommendation of past Yelp reviewers, I hired Hudson to come out and repair my 1970s vintage, conical, gas-log fireplace. Luckily, Hudson knew EXACTLY how to fix it. He was professional and very polite. In addition, he instructed us all on how to operate it safely, and replaced the rock with blue fire glass. It looks fabulous now!! Plus, his prices are very reasonable.
